Via Dolorosa: Stations of the Cross in Verse was written by the Rev. Mervyn Pendleton MA.  The prayers, with the exception of the one after the Fourteenth Station, are suggested by those of St Alphonsus.  The prayer after the Fourteenth Station is adapted from a prayer in the Office of Compline.
